I wasn’t going to write a blog about this book, I mean what could I say that hadn’t already been said. However when I finished I realised I wanted to write about it! I admit this was a “bookstagram made me buy it” purchase, I bought into the hype. I wasn’t entirely sure I would like it that much, that the format would put me off. Boy was I wrong! I literally read this book in a day, the second I picked it up I was hooked. I wanted to keep reading, I wanted to find out how all these people came together and what drove them all apart.

The format is what makes this book special, in my opinion. You can hear each person’s voice and you can feel the change in opinion and feelings in each of them. I remember hearing once “There’s my version, your version and the truth!”, I don’t remember where I heard it if you know let me know. It describes this book perfectly to me. Everyone remembers something different and has their own version of it.

I’m still not convinced this is fiction! Taylor Jenkins Reid managed to transport me to the 70’s rock era and I found myself googling people and places to see if they were real.

There is so much I loved about this book and I would love it if Aurora could be real, thank you very much. If you can’t already tell I definitely recommend this book even if you’re not sure give it a go and you might love it!

Now if you excuse me I’m going to pretend I’m Stevie Nicks in a floaty dress!
